Tech Class Update...

Today my tech students and I had the BEST class! Together we continued to build the frame for our 3rd and 4th backdrop that we have yet to seal and paint before our show opens in May. The students were all so on task, they helped one another and independently completed the building of half the backdrop all by themselves!

Thanks to Kevin and Wyatt who brought electric screwdrivers from home (our school screwdrivers just broke last week), we were able to complete much of the project! Thanks you two! While some students were onstage building, other students were in the tech booth reviewing how to run and operate the sound, lights, wireless microphones and spotlights.  Just look at how on task they all were! I have never had such an amazing Tech class! Thank you for being so awesome students!!!

After we finished building the frame the students wanted to experiment with some lights that were stacked outside in the shed. They were excited, motivated, and eager to see if we could get the equipment working. If we can get what we found up and running then it will really add a lot of spectacle to our musical this spring! We are all really excited!  IT WAS THE BEST CLASS EVER!
